Basal Cell Carcinoma of Skin Metastatic to Bone

Abstract
A total of 67 cases of metastatic basal cell carcinoma have been recorded to date, only ten of which were to bone. An instance of metastasis to the femur is presented, and a theory advanced as to why a certain type of basal cell metastasizes.
