Papular AngioplasiaVascular Papules of the Face and Scalp Simulating Malignant Vascular Tumors

Abstract
Papules on the face and scalp, consisting of bizarre and anomalous proliferations of vascular tissue, occurred in two patients. Although the lesions had many cytological characteristics of malignant tissue, they were considered to be examples of pseudomalignancies because their biological behavior was benign. The relationship of these patients to the recently described entity of pseudopyogenic granuloma and to pseudomalignancies is discussed.
