Herpes Simplex Infection Complicating Darier's Disease

Caused by Type 1 Herpesvirus hominis

Abstract

A patient with known Darier's disease developed Kaposi's varicelliform eruption. The isolated virus was shown to be type 1 Herpesvirus hominis. We discuss methods and importance of typing the herpesvirus.
