Eczema Vaccinatum and Eczema Herpeticum in Darier Disease

Abstract
A patient with known Darier disease developed separate secondary viral infections due to vaccinia and herpes simplex viruses. The first infection with vaccinia virus occurred while the patient was pregnant. Vaccinia hyperimmune -globulin was used to treat the patient who made an uneventful recovery and delivered a healthy infant approximately seven months later.
