Abstract
A massively obese woman who lost 59.2 kg had a panniculus extending down to the level of her knees when she was erect. The panniculus was very hard, thickened, hyperpigmented, and studded with varioussized, firm excrescences. Elephantiasis nostras verrucosa has only rarely been reported to affect the abdominal wall, and to our knowledge, this is the second recorded case in the dermatologic literature. A brief review of elephantiasis nostras accompanies the case report.
