Systemic Antibiotic Therapy of Secondarily Infected Dermatitis

Abstract
Systemic cloxacillin therapy of secondarlly infected dermatitis produces a significant increase in healing when compared to a placebo. The effects of systemic cloxacillin therapy become apparent after five days of treatment. A single pretreatment culture was not helpful in directing therapy.
