Daniel B. Dubin, MD; Kenneth A. Arndt, MD

Arch Dermatol. 1997;133(1):21-22.

Abstract

The Institute for Scientific Information has supplied us with updated citation data derived from 58 201 articles published between 1981 and 1994 in the 17 top-ranked peer-reviewed international dermatology journals.1 From 1981 through 1994, these 58 201 articles accrued 279 999 citations. Using this revised database, we have identified the top 25 countries with respect to the total number of citations that their authors' articles have received.
