Abstract
The chief significance of angioid streaks at the present time is their occurrence in conjunction with 3 disorders—pseudoxanthoma elasticum, Paget's disease of bone, and sicklecell disease. It appears unlikely that a fundamental relationship exists between these disorders, despite the occurrence of such distinctive lesions as angioid streaks with all three.
