DNCB Allergy in the Guinea Pig Colon

Abstract
An inflammatory reaction, histologically analogous to allergic contact dermatitis, was produced in the colons of skin-sensitized guinea pigs. This suggests that tissues other than the skin have the capacity to react to contact allergens.
