Abstract
The unusual combination of a mycotic infection—caused by Sporotrichum schenckii— and a neoplasm—angiosarcoma—has not hitherto been reported. The initial impression of a granulomatous mycotic reaction was verified, but the additional finding of angiosarcoma in the same anatomical focus illustrates that a search for more than one disease process can be rewarding.
