Mycosis Fungoides

Relationship to Malignant Cutaneous Reticulosis and the Sézary Syndrome

WILLIAM E. CLENDENNING, MD; GEORGE BRECHER, MD; EUGENE J. VAN SCOTT, MD; BETHESDA, MD

Arch Dermatol. 1964;89(6):785-792.

Abstract

Clinical and histopathologic aspects of the malignant cutaneous lymphoma, mycosis fungoides, are discussed. Current concepts of malignant cutaneous reticulosis and the Sézary syndrome are presented. Based upon a review of the literature and a series of 33 cases of mycosis fungoides, the conclusion is reached that malignant cutaneous reticulosis and the Sézary syndrome are forms of mycosis fungoides.
