DENNY L. TUFFANELLI, MD; EDMUND L. DUBOIS, MD

Arch Dermatol. 1964;90(4):377-386.

Abstract

The cutaneous manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus have been studied in 520 patients. Common findings included the butterfly blush, photosensitivity, chronic discoid lesions, alopecia, Raynaud's phenomenon, and nondescriptive erythematous maculopapular eruptions. Unusual features emphasized included angiitis, fractured frontal hair, subcutaneous nodules, leg ulcers, digital gangrene, and bullae.
