Abstract
A Japanese patient with an eccrine poroma was presented. A rice-grain-sized brown pigment spot was on the top of the tumor. Microscopically melanin granules and melanocytes were found localized in a part of the superficial portion of the lesion. Previously reported cases of eccrine poroma have been reviewed especially for the microscopic findings of melanin, melanocytes, glycogen, intercellular bridges, and tonofibrils.
