Abstract
This non-corticoid steroid possesses potent local anti-inflammatory activity in animals. Study was therefore undertaken of its topical activity in humans. The negative results in man demonstrate a dichotomy in activity between species. However, in man, there was correlation between poor vaso-constrictor activity and lack of anti-inflammatory activity by this non-corticoid structure.
