Allergy to Chromium

J. W. H. MALI, MD; K. MALTEN, MD; F. C. J. VAN NEER, MD

Arch Dermatol. 1966;93(1):41-44.

Abstract

Some reasons for the controversial opinions on the occurrence or nonoccurrence of allergy to trivalent chromium compounds are exemplified in a number of observations on bichromate-sensitive patients. It appears that the results of epicutaneous and intracutaneous tests are determined by quantitative factors and observation time.
