Abstract
A case of sporotrichosis with demonstration of hyphae in human tissue is reported. The lesion was a solitary cutaneous granuloma on the wrist. This is the sixth known case with hyphae from human tissue reported in the literature. The organism was demonstrated from the deeper dermis with Gomori methenamine silver nitrate and PAS stains.
