Abstract
A case of lupus erythematosus with deep seated cutaneous lesions provoked a review of the questions raised by this rare variety of the disease, especially whether to consider it a modification of the systemic form. Antimalarial therapy was effective in producing remission, and the case is reviewed in the light of reports of similiar cases from the literature.
