Abstract
We present three cases of pyoderma gangrenosum in which we attempt to relate the pathogenesis to the coexistence of diabetes mellitus and rheumatoid arthritis. It is felt that the vascular changes in the skin incident to diabetes mellitus and rheumatoid arthritis provide the explanation for the extent and severity of the gangrenous pyoderma as described.
