Familial Erythema of Acral Regions

Henry G. Bryan, MD; Ralph J. Coskey, MD

Arch Dermatol. 1967;95(5):483-486.

Abstract

Three children are described with an asymptomatic erythematous, papular and plaque-like eruption involving the acral regions of the body. The eruption appeared during infancy. Two of the children had dental abnormalities and clubfeet. Biopsies taken from the three children were similar, revealing an increase in the number of small blood vessels in the dermis associated with a perivascular mononuclear-cell infiltrate.
