Purpura Hyperglobulinemica

Treatment With Support Leotard

Abstract

A 42-year-old woman with severe purpura hyperglobulinemica progressing to leg ulceration is described. She was bedridden and refractory to penicillamine and steroid therapy. With the use of a pressure gradient support leotard the petechial formation was inhibited and ambulation was allowed.
