Quality Assurance

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 92 words of the full text and any section headings.

I have little interest in quality assurance but love college basketball. As I scanned Ertle's article on quality of care,1 3 of my favorite names jumped out of the page: UCLA, John Wooden, and Bill Walton. I was surprised to learn of a 98-game UCLA winning streak; even my cats know it was 88 games, ended by Notre Dame. One must admit that there is a certain irony in getting the numbers wrong when writing about perfection. How about a little quality assurance?
