REPORT OF A CASE
A 5-year-old girl was referred for evaluation of an asymptomatic growth on the midline nasal region. The lesion, which had been present for 3 years, had slowly increased in size. There was no preceding injury, and the patient was otherwise in excellent health.
Physical examination revealed a nonmobile, soft, nontender subcutaneous mass without a fistula (Figure 1). Surface telangiectasias were noted. Palpation of the facial bony structures revealed no abnormalities. The nasal bridge was not widened.

A computed tomographic scan revealed a 2-cm subcutaneous cystic formation without intracranial extension; the other surounding bony structures were intact. Removal of the lesion required a transcolumellar approach. The specimen was sent for histopathologic examination (Figure 2).
