This first edition textbook provides a concise and practical overview of cutaneous and cosmetic laser surgery. The 2 principal authors, Drs Lowe and Lask, are recognized experts in the field of cutaneous laser surgery. Although this is a multiauthored text, Drs Lowe and Lask serve as coauthors on most chapters. The book is well written and covers a wide range of topics in cutaneous and cosmetic surgery. Topics include laser physics, low-energy laser systems, anesthesia for laser surgery, treatment of vascular lesions (including leg veins), treatment of pigmented lesions and tattoos, laser resurfacing, treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids, and laser hair removal. In addition, there are several chapters on laser-assisted blepharoplasty, hair transplantation, and endoscopic cosmetic surgery.
