Dermatologic Surgery Is an Important Area of Dermatology

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 150 words of the full text and any section headings.

Thank you for your letter indicating that Dermatologic Surgery was not included in the list of journals that we regularly review for "Evidence-Based Dermatology" in the Archives of Dermatology. Our intention is to summarize, in structured, value-added abstracts, articles from the biomedical literature whose results are most likely to be true and useful, including articles published in Dermatologic Surgery. We would be happy to consider articles from Dermatologic Surgery on treatment, diagnosis, prognosis, causation, quality improvement, continuing medical education, economics, and reviews that meet the criteria detailed in our Purpose and Procedure.1 We will add Dermatologic Surgery to the list of regularly reviewed journals.
