CENTENNIAL SURVEY RESULTS

Premature proclamations to the contrary, the January 2001 issue is the first ARCHIVES of the next millennium. In honor of this occasion and celebrating a shared vision of the past and future of our field, Harvey Lui, MD, FRCP, Web Editor of the ARCHIVES, and Mark Bernhardt, MD, Section Editor of the Archives a Century Ago, collaborated to offer readers an online survey to determine the single development of the 20th century that had the greatest impact on the practice of dermatology. Sixty ballots were submitted via the Archives of Dermatology Internet home page from September 15 to November 14, 2000. The results are as follows:
