ACNE AND SYCOSIS TREATED BY EXPOSURES TO ROENTGEN RAYS.

Professor of Dermatology in the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Following this hint, I began, in August, 1901, to treat intractable acnes by exposures to X-rays. I have used the method in a number of cases, and the results are, I believe, of interest.

Editor's Comment

I am sure that such a light, when used with caution, is perfectly safe in these cases, but I think that if they are exposed to a strong light it should be with the very greatest care.
