REPORT OF A CASE
A 20-year-old woman presented to the dermatology department with skin-colored
and erythematous warty papules arranged vertically in a linear fashion on
the nape of her neck (Figure 1 and Figure 2). The lesion had been present since
birth but approximately 1 year earlier, during the patient's first pregnancy,
the lesion appeared to grow and became more prominent at the superior pole.
Because of the sudden change in the lesion and the recent onset of pain at
the site, her general practitioner treated her with oral antibiotics for a
presumed infection. She was otherwise in good health. The lesion was excised

Diagnosis: Syringocystadenoma papilliferum (SP) in a sebaceous nevus (SN).
