Why Dermpath:
Considered psychiatry, but did not want to be a psychoanalyst. Fondness for things morphologic, especially art, led to dermatology. An affinity for the microscope coupled with the realization that dermatopathologists could resolve quandaries vexing to clinicians led to dermatopathology.
