C. M., a country merchant in a small town in Missouri, came, on Nov. 2d, 1903, to the Polyclinic, Medical Department of Washington University, and was referred to the Dermatological clinic for treatment. . . . The patient has always enjoyed good health, except in childhood, when he had had the usual run of infections: measles, scarlet fever, etc.
