The Archives of Dermatology has had a fine gentleman as Editor. Now that you've retired, Ken, you deserve more than a modest farewell in the December issue of yourand ourjournal.1
For 20 years have you steered this impressive journal. You have done this, in cooperation with staff and friends, in a masterly way. Numerous innovations have been introduced into almost all sections.
Let me, on behalf of your international readers, subscribers, reviewers, and authors, send you a cordial thank-you note for what you have achieved. We consider the Archives of Dermatology as one of the outstanding journals of particular interest to clinically oriented dermatologists, be they in academic units or private practice. The ARCHIVES has kept abreast with many new developments in the understanding of skin diseases, their mechanisms, and their ways of treatment.
