REPORT OF A CASE

A 62-year-old man presented with a nodule on his forehead that had grown rapidly in diameter over a 1-month period. His medical history included surgical removal of a right-sided colon cancer 10 years earlier. He had no family history of skin cancer or colon cancer.

On physical examination, multiple dome-shaped yellowish papules were observed on the patient’s face (Figure 1) and a 2-cm pink nodule with a central hyperkeratotic plug was observed on the left side of the forehead (Figure 2). A shave biopsy specimen was obtained from a yellow papule on the cheek (Figure 3) as well as from the pink nodule on the forehead (Figure 4).
