REPORT OF A CASE
A 53-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of an asymptomatic nodular lesion in front of his right ear. The lesion would occasionally crust, with the crust falling off later, leaving a smooth nodule. Physical examination revealed an erythematous, irregular, 12-mm-diameter nodule with an adherent scale over its anteroinferior surface (Figure 1). The patient was otherwise in good general health.
