REPORT OF A CASE
A 16-year-old girl presented with a 5-year history of lesions on her neck and trunk. The lesions, which had never been treated, were occasionally pruritic, especially during the summer. The patient was otherwise healthy, and there was no family history of similar lesions.
Physical examination revealed multiple 1- to 3-mm light-brown keratotic papules on the right side of the neck (Figure 1) and back (Figure 2). The results of the rest of the cutaneous examination, including the nails and oral mucosa, were normal. A punch biopsy specimen was obtained from a representative papule on the right shoulder (Figure 3).
