REPORT OF A CASE
A 40-year-old man presented with several bluish nodules on his body. He stated that the first lesion had arisen on his left lower extremity years earlier, possibly during childhood, and other lesions had eventually appeared on his trunk, arms, and legs. Physical examination revealed several collections of soft, compressible, bluish, 5- to 8-mm nodules on the trunk, right upper hip region, and all 4 extremities (Figure 1). The patient denied any associated pain or pruritus, but the lesions were tender on deep palpation. The findings of the rest of his physical examination were unremarkable.
