Report of a Case
A 51-year-old woman had a several-year history of multiple small brown macules confined to the external genital areas. Her family history was unremarkable, and she was otherwise healthy. She was not taking any drug.
The skin examination revealed asymptomatic, multiple, small, spotted and reticulated macules distributed symmetrically only on the external genitalia (Figure 1A). Similar lesions were not present at the flexures, and she stated that none of her family members had analogous lesions. The findings of a gynecologic examination were normal.
