REPORT OF A CASE

A 25-year-old man presented with a 10-year history of red spots localized to the right cheek (Figure 1). He had first noticed the lesions when he began to shave. They had initially increased in number over a few years, but no new ones had developed during the past 5 years. They were symptomatic only in cold weather, becoming slightly tender. The patient's medical history was unremarkable, and there were no similar lesions in his family. Skin biopsy findings are shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3.
