Errors in Figure, Table, and Address

Arch Dermatol. 1999;135:786.

In the Vignette titled "Amplification of DNA of Borrelia burgdorferi in Urine Samples of Patients With Granuloma Annulare and Lichen Sclerosus et Atrophicus," published in the February issue of the ARCHIVES (1999;135:210-211), the bands were not identified correctly in Figure 1. Figure 1 and legend are reprinted correctly herein. Also, in Table 1 under the column heading "PCR Results," there were 6 patients (not 5) with lichen sclerosus et atrophicus whose results of polymerase chain reaction testing were negative for flagellin and the Ly-1 gene. In addition, the postal code in the corresponding author's address should have been listed as A-8036.

Lane 1 indicates DNA marker with 50-, 100-, 200-, 300-, 400-, 500/525-, 700-, and 1000-bp (base pair) amplicons; lanes 3 and 6, patient A; lanes 4 and 7, patient B; lanes 2 and 8, positive control; lane 5, negative control; and lane 9, 50-bp DNA ladder.
