URTICARIA PIGMENTOSA. Presented by DR. FRASER.

A girl, aged 14 months, presented lesions which comprised oval shaped nodules and pigmented macules; these appeared when the child was two and a half months old, and had persisted. The specimen examined responded to the specific reaction for mast cells.

DISCUSSION

DR. WISE said he agreed with the diagnosis, and commented on the small number of lesions.

DR. HOWARD FOX said he thought the case was unusual, not only on account of the scarcity of the lesions, but also because of the reddish color. He agreed with the diagnosis.
