An article with the title given above, written by Dr. Edward Ahlswede, appeared in the ARCHIVES OF DERMATOLOGY AND SYPHILOLOGY, April, 1924, page 479. A letter just received from Prof. Dr. A. Buschke, Dirigierender Arzt, and Dr. E. Sklarz, früherer Oberarzt, der Dermatologischen Abteilung des Städtischen Rudolf Virchow Krankenhauses in Berlin, calls attention to the fact that a similar article written by them was published in Dermatologische Wochenschrift, June, 1923, Vol. 76, Nos. 24 and 25,, and "that the article appearing in the ARCHIVES is merely a deduction of the original." . . .
