It is necessary only to call attention to this new edition of Walker's "Dermatology." A work that has been a standard book for twenty-six years and that has gone through eight editions can claim the quality of old wine. Its character has long been known. Its author is a skilful dermatologist, with broad, general training, and he is a wise man. The book, accordingly, has character, and as a result has always been one of the interesting, original works on the subject. It has the great virtue of being reasonably compact. The colored illustrations, of which there are ninety-two, are excellent.
Altogether it is a good book.
