National Program Conference Takes Up Resource Attraction

The subject under discussion was "resource attraction for dermatology"—with equal time given to consideration of human resources and of the monetary resources needed for growth and development of the specialty.

Some 70 participants were called together by the American Academy of Dermatology's National Program for Dermatology as part of a continuing program of "idea exchange" discussions—designed to zero in on problems facing the specialty of dermatology and to reach conclusions that can provide guidance to the groups represented at the conference.

The idea exchange discussion taking up resource attraction convened at the Marylhurst Education Center near Portland, Ore., late in August.
