A particular sterile lubricant (K-Y Lubricating Jelly) has been widely used for medical examinations and instrumentations. To our knowledge, there are no previous reports in the literature of allergic reactions to this lubricant. This report cites three patients who acquired allergic contact reactions from three different types of exposure to this product.
