To the Editor.—

After reading Epstein's1 vitriolic review of Diseases of the Hair and Scalp by Rook and Dawber I could not wait to see the book. What I found was an encyclopedic compendium of hair that one would expect of these renowned authors. Most of our staff at the University of Miami School of Medicine have purchased it, and I recommend it to all dermatologists. When I am looking for a book on "hair," I am looking for a scholarly text, not a "Broadway show." . . . [Full Text PDF of this Article]
