Research Grants Available in Alopecia Areata.—

The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) is accepting applications for research proposals in alopecia areata to be awarded competitively in 1986. The NAAF's grant program is designed to provide financial support to investigators and must be used to support basic immunologic research that may lead to a better understanding of the causes, treatment, and prevention of alopecia areata. Grants of $5000 each will be awarded. The Medical Advisory Board of the NAAF will select the most promising research proposals, and the awards will be announced at the NAAF's annual meeting . . .
