Request for Proposal.—

The Lester Conrad Research Foundation is offering grants of $7,500 each for research in the fields of clinical and investigative dermatology. All areas of research will be considered; however, we are most interested in the following areas: hormonal changes and their effects in the dermis, dermal response to environmental stress to actinic damage, and skin aging and changes in structural elements.

Four copies of all materials must be received by Sept 1, 1986. The application must include the following: (1) a brief abstract of less than a half page (single spaced), (2) a description of the proposed research (maximum of five double-spaced pages excluding figures and references) that should include a statement of the project to be undertaken, its aims and objectives, the methods to be used and the significance of the work, and (3) a current curriculum vitae.
