As announced in our January 1987 issue, the ARCHIVES has instituted an annual award for the dermatology resident or fellow who published as first author the most meritorious original research in the ARCHIVES during the preceding year. We are extremely pleased to announce that this year's winner is Susan M. Orchard, MD, for her article "Poison Ivy/Oak Dermatitis: Use of Polyamine Salts of a Linoleic Acid Dimer for Topical Prophylaxis,"1 coauthored by Drs Fellman and Storrs, based on work performed during her dermatology residency in the Oregon Health Sciences University program in Portland.
