In the editorial entitled "Mechanisms of Cutaneous Inflammation," published in the October issue of the ARCHIVES (1989;125:1406-1412), an error appeared on page 1406, column 1, lines 13 through 16. The sentence contained therein should have read as follows: "Many of these molecules are members of the integrin family of proteins (based on molecular relationships); others, in turn, are thought to belong to the immunoglobulin gene super family.⁷" . . .
