In the editorial entitled "The Informative Abstract" that appeared in the January 1992 issue of the ARCHIVES (1992;128:101), an error appeared in the first column, second sentence. The sentence read as follows: "Physicians spend many hours each January reading journals, and the publications provide essential services by disseminating new knowledge and providing continuing education." The sentence should have read as follows: "Physicians spend many hours each month reading journals, and the publications provide essential services by disseminating new knowledge and providing continuing education." . . .
