DERMATOLOGY TODAY
This is the season of the year when the dermatologists get together here and there over the country for their annual clinical meetings. These are a sort of dermatologic field days, and they give us perhaps our best indication of the actual state of the practice of dermatology.
One cannot attend these meetings without being impressed with the activity of dermatology now, the keenness of its practitioners, and their zest in its pursuit. One must also be impressed by the great development of dermatology during the first quarter of this century. Twentyfive years ago dermatologists for the most part were found in the largest cities, and not in all of them. Now first-class men are becoming widely distributed in the smaller cities, and we are getting expert service at the disposal of practically the entire country.
