Descriptions of multiple blue nevi in an agminated distribution are rare. Combined nevi consisting of blue nevi with other nevoid lesions are uncommon, and the combination with a Spitz nevus has been described only once.1 Herein, we describe a patient with an agminate-type combined nevus consisting of a common blue nevus with a junctional Spitz nevus.
Report of a Case.
A healthy 15-year-old white girl presented with a history of an irregularly pigmented lesion located on the left mandibula and beneath the left ear. It arose at the age of 6 months and had been growing very slowly ever since. For the past 6 years, parts of the lesion had become progressively darker. Physical examination showed a 7x5-cm area, covered with both blue-gray and skin-colored papules (Figure 1).
